To accurately identify your assets, each one is equipped with a unique tag containing its own number or reference.
Depending on the type of asset and your tracking requirements, the most suitable tag type will be selected.
Clicx operates fully hybrid, supporting all available tag types and identification technologies.
Passive tags
Tag equipment and materials with a passive QR or NFC tag and scan them using a smartphone or NFC reader for instant access to asset information. View status, maintenance records, and user details, or provide real-time feedback. This simplifies asset management and allows for quick manual updates or consultation via Clicx.
Semi-active tags
Machines and components can be equipped with a semi-active tag that is tracked in real-time via a vehicle, machine, or warehouse gateway. As long as the tag remains within the gateway’s range, its location stays up to date in Clicx. For objects moving beyond gateway coverage, an active (autonomous) tag may be a better solution.
Active tags
For valuable or mobile assets, such as vehicles, equipment, or transportation units, an active tag with a SIM card provides precise location tracking, independent of your infrastructure. These tags operate on batteries or can be connected to a power source. Wired variants function as gateways, also recording operating hours and nearby semi-active tags.
